Design and Public Policy, a two way street

News - 05 March 2020 - Communication

How do we ignite a broader discussion on the value of design for tackling societal challenges? The first version of the H2020 project Designscapes’ Green Paper on Design-enabled Innovation in Urban Environment is now in an extensive consultation phase. It is available online now.

IDE researcher Ingrid Mulder participates in the project and is excited by recent developments: “Additional evidence has been collected to further strengthen the rationale for why design is needed in EU innovation policy.”

During the first Designscapes Policy Forum Design and Public Policy, A Two-Way Street, that will take place in Valencia on 10 and 11 March, several international experts will join forces. They will shape recommended policy actions for European cities to boost the design capacity and capability of European innovation actors and systems.
