Tina Comes participates in podium discussion in the German parliament

On 27 January Tina Comes will participate in a Panel discussion at the Bundestag (German parliament). The topic is: “Helping before the crisis! Predictive Humanitarian Aid”- Rethinking development and humanitarian aid in the digital age. Comes will participate in the discussion ‘From prediction to rapid assistance - new technologies as lifesavers’.

The debate is initiated by the Freie Demokratische Partei Liberal party) parliamentary group to highlight the potential of predictive humanitarian aid and discuss avenues for improvement. The need for improved preparation of humanitarian aid is very relevant since the intensity and the frequency of natural disasters will continue to increase.
