Sneak preview new Makerspace

Although many on-campus activities were cancelled, the development of the new Makerspace continues steadily. This new Makerspace, is a place where students can tinker and build prototypes.

The room shown in the picture features 3D-printers, solder stations, electronic test equipment and a laser cutter.

In the adjacent room, more heavy equipment is available to students when doing the course Design Engineering for Physicists 2. A third room in which students can assemble their prototypes, is still under development. Luckily, but unfortunately at the same, we still have some time before students are allowed to enter.
