Update on Refunds

From the moment that X had to close in mid-March 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak, there have been many questions about refunds for subscriptions or course fees. In order to be able to answer these questions, two things need to be clear.

First of all, there needed to be an agreement in policy amongst the Dutch universities. This has now been done. Secondly, the duration of the closure needed to be determined. Now, as of 1 July 2020, X has started a phased reopening of various parts of the offer, the extent of which is comparable to the summer programme in other years. This means that it will now be possible to determine the period, and that TU Delft will be able to decide on a possible refund measure. When a decision is made on a refund measure, the aim is to have it implemented before the start of the new academic year.
