X subscriptions extended until 1 September

News - 23 June 2020 - Communication

All X subscriptions that were previously extended until the end of June due to the corona crisis, will be renewed once again for a two-month period; from 1 July until 1 September. It will also be possible again to purchase an X subscription.

Extension of X subscription
At the time X closed, we extended all X subscriptions that were valid at that time (so far as they were not already valid until the end of the season) until June. These subscriptions will be renewed once again for a further two-month period starting on 1 July. The subscriptions are valid until 1 September.

Purchase of new subscription
Didn't have an X subscription at the time of closing? From 29 June, it will again be possible to purchase an X subscription through our webshop. You have a choice of three variants:

  • Weekly subscription for € 5.-
  • Monthly subscription for € 16.50
  • 2-month subscription for € 30.-

The prices mentioned above are student rates, see our subscription page for more information about the other rates.

N.B. We monitor the number of subscriptions being sold. Should it turn out that demand exceeds the number of visitors we are allowed to admit, the sale may be (temporarily) halted.

Online subscription
The online ticket hours and one-on-one consultations offered via Zoom, will continue until 6 July. All subscriptions will give you access to the online offer until this date, including those new subscriptions bought after 29 June. The online subscription will expire after 6 July.

Possibilities X subscription summer period
With the subscription you can participate in the ticket hours that will take place outside from 29 June. Curious to know which ticket hours these are? As of next Friday they will be in the online schedule. The subscription gives you the possibility to reserve a hockey, football, basketball and beach volleyball field and tennis court, and until 6 July  you can reserve a music studio*. A week later, from 6 July, you can visit the VR-booths and the Art, Crafts & Technology Lab (ACTlab) again, upon reservation. You can also take part in the indoor activities that will begin to start up again, provided that the announced relaxations by the Dutch government continue. Among other things, we are investigating the possibilities of opening the Fitness.

For more information about these specific steps, see the news item about the gradual scaling up of X.

*From 6 July to mid-August, construction work will take place. At that time, access to Freetown will be closed and spaces such as the music studios and rehearsal rooms will no longer be open to the public.
