For the first time: Electrochemical p-Doping of CsPbBr3 Perovskite Nanocrystals

News - 22 July 2021 - Communication TNW

Perovskite nanocrystals are popular candidate materials for solar cells, LEDs and laser. To unleash their full potential, control over electronic doping is required. In the latest edition of ACS Energy Letters, PhD candidate Jence Mulder (ChemE), working with professor Arjan Houtepen, reports reversible electrochemical p-doping of CsPbBr3 perovskite NCs. This work, that was among June’s most read ACS Energy Letters, creates new options in applying perovskite nanocrystals, and perovskite materials in general, in opto-electronic devises. The work has also been featured in the Energy Spotlight of ACS Energy Letters.
