Coronavirus update: X closes earlier, face mask obligation and 1.5 metre rule

News - 29 November 2021 - Communication

During the press conference on Friday 26 November, it was announced that many sectors will have to close their doors for a period of three weeks from 17:00 - 05:00 as of Sunday 28 November. This news obviously has major consequences for X and therefore for you as a visitor of X.

X closes earlier
As a result of the new measures, as of Sunday onwards, all physical activities that would take place after 17:00 are cancelled. The activities that were scheduled to take place partly after 17:00 (e.g. from 16:45 to 17:15) have also been cancelled. If your activity ends at 17:00, we ask you to leave X as soon as possible after it has finished.

In the course of this week, we are investigating whether it is possible to reschedule part of our programme and/or offer it in online form. As soon as we know more, we will give an update on our website.

Takeaway
On weekdays from 17:00 until 21:00, you can still enjoy our takeaway! It is located on the outside of the Concept Store.

Safety measures
In addition, as of 28 November, you have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters and wear a face mask when moving through the building. During sports or cultural activities, the 1.5 metre distance may be waived and you may take off your face mask.

Several changing rooms and lockers will also be taken out of use in order to guarantee the flow of people and enable social distancing within the building.

The policy concerning the COVID certificate remains unchanged. If you wish to enter X, you must show your COVID certificate at the main entrance. This also applies to tennis in the balloon hall. If you are only using the outdoor facilities at X, this will not be necessary. In that case, you do not need to queue at the main entrance, but can gain access around the back via the tennis courts gate.

Details of all the safety measures can be found on our website.
