Feodor Lynen Fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation
Starting September 1st 2022, Dr. Sebastian Bechtel will stay for two years at the TU Delft in the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics of Faculty EEMCS. He is supported by a Feodor Lynen Fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. His host is Prof. dr. ir. Mark Veraar of the Analysis section of DIAM who is a former Humboldt fellow himself. Sebastian Bechtel will investigate several research problems related to function spaces for (stochastic) partial differential equations. Sebastian did his PhD at the TU Darmstadt in Germany, and completed a postdoc at Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux. He is a specialist on interpolation theory, function spaces, and elliptic PDE.
