TU Delft in 43rd place in THE Reputation Ranking
In the Times Higer Education World Reputation Ranking 2022, published today, TU Delft is in position 43. Compared to other universities in Europe, TU Delft ranks 10th place, in the Netherlands 1st.

The results are based on surveys conducted among leading academics asking them to name up to 15 universities that in their experience excel in education and research. This input is also used in the Times Higher Education's World University Rankings and Subject Rankings.

Presented as the list of "the most powerful global university brands", only 200 positions (previously 100 and now) are given away.
Different rankings
Rankings such as these are especially important for universities to attract international talent, as they are widely consulted by international students and scholars. THE rankings, along with the Shanghai ranking and the QS ranking, are among the leading university rankings in the world. Each of these rankings is compiled slightly differently and has its own advantages and limitations.
