On 27 January, it was Chocolate Cake day and X organised a Chocolate Cake Contest. We had invited amateur bakers to participate with home-baked signature chocolate cake from their home country.
The judges tasted and judged all the cakes. The cakes were judged on creativity, the most taste and most resembling the home country. The three winners were:
- Most Tasty Chocolate cake: Anouk Zandbergen with 'Heerlie de Peerlie'
- Most Resembling Home Country: Sian Jones with 'Cranachan Inspired Chocolate Cake'
- Most Creative Cake: Preeti Ranka with 'When Chocolate met Orange'
The winners have written out their recipes, so now you too can bake these delicious chocolate cakes at home. Start warming your oven and let the baking begin!
