WILMER Multiple Position Wrist

Product Code: WMPW-38, WMPW-44, WMPW-50

The WILMER Multiple Position Wrist WMPW is part of a unique prosthetic system for children with a unilateral arm defect. The central pushrod operation system provides voluntary opening terminal devices with an operating power totally independent of the wrist rotation angle. Furthermore, the control cable is situated inside the forearm socket; this offers a dramatic reduction of wear of clothing. The wrist does not need a separate control action. It is co-operated with the operation of the hand or the hook. Opening the hand or hook is preceded by the unlocking of the wrist. The wrist rotation angle can now be adjusted, if necessary. Once an object is grasped the wrist locks automatically in the position chosen.
