Programme: Meet Anneke and Remko 6 July 2021

The interactive evening programme includes brief updates from the universities followed by a short talk by TU Delft alumni  Remko Dirkmaat and Anneke Stolk about co-founding the sustainable urban farm InstaGreen in Barcelona six years ago and how the company had to change due to the Covid19 pandemic.

Per tradition, our gathering concludes with a virtual borrel (BYOB) where you and fellow alumni living in Barcelona, Madrid and other parts of Spain will be mixed with each other to maximize interactions and stimulate conversations. Make sure to also bring some snacks and drinks for the borrel!

Anneke & Remko - InstaGreen

6 years ago, Anneke Stolk (Industrial Designer) and Remko Dirkmaat (Architect) started an urban farm in the center of Barcelona. As a slowly growing startup that cultivates microgreens locally for 200+ restaurants, Instagreen had to change course in 2020. Due to the pandemic, all their clients were forced to close. Anneke and Remko now train others to kickstart their own urban farm and they provide their in house developed 'low-tech' growing system to other microgreen businesses around the world.
