Graduate School

The TU Delft Graduate School includes both the central TU Delft Graduate School and the faculty Graduate Schools. The TU Delft Graduate School is responsible for the organisation of the degree programmes and the supervision of doctoral candidates at the university. It also coordinates, on behalf of the Board for Doctorates, the appointment of promotors and the evaluation and defence of doctoral dissertations.

The TU Delft Graduate School Board consists of the Graduate School Director (chairman, pro vice rector), the Vice-Rector Magnificus, and the directors of the faculty Graduate Schools. The faculty Graduate Schools coordinate the faculty PhD policy, which consists among other things of guidelines for the selection and interim evaluation of PhD candidates, support for promotors and the objectives and guidelines for research and discipline-specific courses.
