Conferences and events
Sections of the Aula Congress Centre can be hired out for conferences and other academic or cultural events. It has spaces suitable for 10 to 1200 people. The very spacious foyer, various mezzanines and entrance hall with reception desk make it a unique location. It’s also ideal for hosting lunches, dinners and other catered events.
The Aula Congress Centre rooms and halls can only be reserved for TU Delft events.
In addition to the Aula Building there are other locations on campus which can be used for conferences and events. Contact Event Solutions, email@example.com, for more information.
The Aula Congress Centre is open on working days between 08.00 and 22.00. Different opening times may apply during holiday periods and during events.

Freezones are designated areas on campus that can be reserved by TU Delft students and staff members only between 08.00 and 21.00, Monday to Friday. Electricity, running water and drainage facilities are free to use for activities in the Freezones. The Freezones can be used for studying, researching, relaxing or working outside. Or why not try holding a meeting or project presentation outdoors? The Freezones come in three different sizes, so you can be sure of finding an area suitable for your planned activity.
Reserving a Freezone
Freezones are easy to use. All you need to do is reserve via TopDesk, the Service Desk or the secretary's office at least one working day in advance. Don't forget to allow time for setting up and clearing up when you make your reservation.
In order to make use of the facilities (water/electricity) in the Freezone, you need a key. You can pick it up from and return it to the information desk in the Aula Building.
The Freezones are located in public areas between the buildings where staff and students work and study. There are a number of rules that should be observed. Promoting political or religious beliefs is not permitted in the Freezones.

Want to check whether your activity is suitable for a Freezone? Or would you like to organise something in Mekel Park rather than a Freezone? We are happy to help. Visit the information desk in the Aula Building or contact us on 015 27 89222 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
