TU Delft considers academic integrity a shared responsibility. All staff members that are involved in research, education and impact have their own responsibility, but the university also has Institutions’ duties of care. Thereby she follows the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, that entered into force on 1 October 2018.
TU Delft has two confidential advisors academic integrity: confidential conversation partners for employees, students or guests of TU Delft who see themselves confronted with matters that touch on academic integrity and who want to exchange thoughts about this.
Also, TU Delft also has its own Academic Integrity Complaints Regulations, which includes amongst others a scrupulous and fair procedure to deal with complaints regarding academic integrity, including any judgement resulting from it.
The TU Delft Academic Integrity Committee investigates complaints about suspected violations of academic integrity by an employee of TU Delft, or by another person who is or was working in some other capacity under the responsibility of the university.
