Finding a suitable job in some sectors in the Netherlands might depend on the strength of your business network. LinkedIn is often used by Dutch companies to search for suitable candidates. You are therefore strongly advised to actively use LinkedIn in your job search.

Once you have found a job that matches your requirements via your network, an agent or a job board site, you need to send your CV and a letter of motivation. Before doing so, however, it can be advantageous to call the contact person to introduce yourself and ask any relevant questions you might have.


TU Delft offers the partners of new international employees a series of career workshops. The aim of the workshops is to prepare the participants for the Dutch labour market and to familiarise them with the Dutch application procedure.
