International and bilingual schools

International schools are intended for non-Dutch families living in the Netherlands for a limited amount of time and for Dutch families who are returning from or preparing to go abroad. If you are planning to stay for a limited amount of time, an international school may provide more continuity for your children.

There is an international school on the TU Delft campus. International School Delft offers children between 4 and 12 years old a unique opportunity to learn and develop in an international learning environment, alongside children of various nationalities and from different cultures and backgrounds. English is the basic language, but Dutch also features on the curriculum. The school teaches an international curriculum: the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
