S. Zalman (Sèra)

Biography

Originally, I’m from Amsterdam, but I moved to Delft to study aerospace engineering at the TU Delft. In addition to aerospace, I’m interested in biomedical engineering. I did a minor in medicine and was introduced to some really cool crossovers between medicine and engineering. This, combined with the fact that I have always been fascinated with why stuff behaves the way it does, led me to study aerospace materials. I’m not sure yet whether I will end up in the aerospace industry, biomedical engineering or some other field, but I hope I can learn a lot about material behaviour!

In my spare time I take care of my horse Bert, play volleyball and like to run.
