FAQ Backstage tours
-
A guided tour will take around 1,5 to 2 hours.
-
Because of the size of the campus of the Delft University of Technology the tour is about a 3km (around 2 miles) walk. There will also be several stairs at the facilities we will visit.
-
Because of the size of the campus and the lack of elevators in some of the facilities we are unfortunately unable to provide the tours for people whom have trouble walking.
-
The guided tours are specially created to be able to target a broad audience. The guides will however adjust the information given based on the background of the visitor to make it as specific as requested and to keep it interesting for all visitors. Because we are visiting numerous research facilities the tour is however less suited for young children (below the age of 10 years old). We recommend for those to visit the Science Centre itself to introduce them to science and technology in a more playful and interactive manner.
-
For practical information about how to reach the TU Delft Science Center and how to park, visit this page (only in Dutch).
-
All of ours guides speak both English and Dutch fluently. Dependent on the visitors the guided tour will be given in English, Dutch or if necessary a combination of the two.
-
