Delft BioDate 2018

Are you a TU Delft PI interested in interdisciplinary bio collaborations and the funding opportunities they provide?

BioDate brings together TUD researchers from across campus to explore interdisciplinary partnerships, tackling important questions in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics and health(care).

On Wednesday 1 April 2020, 14:00-18:00 in the TU Delft Teaching Lab, we will speed-date with some fifty peers and come up with concrete projects ideas that have the potential for great science and external funding. To help get the collaborations started, Delft Bioengineering Institute offers 2,5k€ grants for promising joint MSc project proposals. The 2018 edition of BioDate resulted in 15 MSc projects!

We warmly invite all TU Delft bioengineering PIs to join BioDate 2020. Seats are limited, so please sign up soon via the registration form. To get an impression of who will participate and what they are looking for, you can take a look at our Bioengineering Principal Investigators page first.

BioDate 2020 is a grassroots effort organized by Caroline Paul (TNW-BT, chair), Martin Depken (TNW-BN), Joana Gonçalves (EWI), Ralph Lindeboom (CiTG), Dimitra Dodou (3mE) and Dimphna Meijer (TNW-BN) in close collaboration with Delft Bioengineering Institute.
