Zhaojie Sun

Biography

Mr. Sun received his Bachelor degree from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2012. After that, he continued his study in HIT and got his Master degree in 2014. Then, he worked as a researcher in the School of Transportation Science and Engineering of HIT for about two years. Since September 2016, he became a PhD candidate in the Section of Pavement Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) led by Prof. Tom Scarpas and Prof. Sandra Erkens.

During his undergraduate and master period, he gained the experience in evaluating the performance of bitumen and asphalt mixture with a focus on pavement sustainability. His research at TU Delft is focusing on the parameter identification of pavements by using moving loads.
