During the past decades, as PI or co-PI, I led several research projects on physics-based, multi-parameter integrated characterization and inversion in geotechnical geophysics, high-resolution seismic imaging, estimating flow properties from poroelastic inversion, geomechanical simulation of fluid-depletion-induced seismicity, seismic characterization of fractured media, and integrated geophysical monitoring of CCS reservoirs. These projects have been funded by Dutch Research Council (NWO), European Union, Dutch Technology Foundation, national programme CATO-2, and also industrial sponsors from the Netherlands and abroad. I served as a member of the departmental education committee and introduction committee in TU Delft, and contributed to coordinating the international MSc programme in applied geophysics.
