Ir. M. (Mattia) Poinelli
I obtained my B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering at Polytechnic University of Milan in 2015 and my M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering with specialisation in Space Flight at Delft University of Technology in 2017.
I joined the department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing as Ph.D. candidate in December 2018.
I currently collaborate with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena and University of California, Irvine.
I use numerical models to study rifts on Antarctic ice-shelves, icy moons and their interactions with sub-surface ocean.
