Profile

Zhengwen YAN is a visiting PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Roland Klees and Dr. Pavel Ditmar at the Department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing. He is currently a PhD candidate with the Department of Earth Sciences and Space, Southern University of Science and Technology. Previously he received Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geophysics from the China University of Geoscience (Beijing) in 2019 and 2016, respectively. During this period, he focused on the 3D joint inversion of gravity, magnetic data, and magnetotelluric. In the PhD project, his research interests include: 
1) Time-variable Gravity Field Model Recovery (Mascon Solution and Spheric Harmonic Coefficient Solution) by GRACE and GRACE-FO data.
2) Simulation for Next Generation of Chinese Gravity Missions.
