Yuning Zhang started her PhD study and research in State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research of East China Normal University in September 2016. Now she is a joint PhD student in Delft University of Technology from April 2019 to April 2021.
Her PhD study focuses on understanding the incipient motion of cohesive sediment in the estuary and its responses to riverine sediment reduction.
Her research is sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. She is also within the framework of the Dual Degree agreement between Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and East China Normal University (ECNU), jointly supervised by Prof. Zheng Bing Wang at TU Delft and Prof. Qing He at ECNU.
