Carine van der Boog
Carine van der Boog holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering and Geosciences from Delft University of Technology. During her MSc research she focussed on the dynamics of the sinking branch of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation in the Labrador Sea. This research was part of the project: From small whirls to the global ocean.
Carine studies the life cycle of anticyclonic eddies in the Caribbean Sea. The aim of this study is to obtain a better understanding of the dynamics of Caribbean anticyclones and their impact on the local weather and climate.
