Joris Vanlede
Joris Vanlede is a senior expert in modeling hydraulics and sediment transport at Flanders Hydraulics Research (www.watlab.be) in Antwerp, Belgium. His research focuses on the Scheldt Estuary and the Southern North Sea and on questions related to nautical accessibility, optimization of dredging and disposal, sediment dynamics and morphology.
Joris is also a guest researcher at TUDelft in the section Environmental Fluid Mechanics, where his research focusses on cohesive sediment dynamics in the Southern North Sea and in the harbor of Zeebrugge. This research is done under supervision of prof. Winterwerp.
Member of organizing and scientific committee of Intercoh 2015, held in Leuven.
