Author or co-author of more than 100 papers in journals and conferences with the focus on breakwater design and rehabilitation during the period 1980-1990 and on port planning and design during the later years up till now. Some of his publications can be downloaded here.

In 2012 his lecture notes, “Ports and Terminals” were published as a book by VSSD in Delft.
