Y. (Yaolu) Liu, MSc

Profile

I obtained my master from Tsinghua University, China, from 2011-2014 and bachelor from Dalian University of Technology, China, from 2007-2011.

Research

My current research is focused on numerical modeling of delamination in composite laminate, specifically aiming at simulating strain rate effect of composites with CZM models, thick-level-set method and multiscale modeling techniques. During my master, I had experiences in numerical modeling of the breakage and failure process of quasi-brittle materials with meshless methods.
