Now, expansive additive(EA) composed of free lime and mineral are used as countermeasures against drying shrinkage cracks on many RC slabs and walls. By using an EA, chemical pre-stress is introduced at the early stage of aging, and the tensile stress accompanying drying shrinkage can be relieved. Controlling these are very important on designing RC structure. My research aims more accurately controlling it by building a hydration reaction model based on particle property.
