Zhilin joined TU Delft as a PhD researcher in September 2015. Her research work is about dispersion in alluvial convergent estuaries. This research is about understanding the complex interactions between tide, geometry, salinity and fresh water that govern dispersion in alluvial estuaries. The objective of this study is to understand the interactions, model the dispersion process then predict dispersion in ungauged areas.
