Seyedehshima Pooralihossein
Profile
Seyedehshima Pooralihossein is a researcher in the Department of Water Management, Delft University of Technology. She graduated from University of Tehran, Iran both Master’s (2012) and Bachelor’s (2010) in Water Resources Engineering summa cum laude. She has been a PhD student in Water Resources Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran since 2013. She has also been working as a surface water technologist in Tehran Regional Water Company since 2014.
She has joined the Water Resources Management Department as a visiting researcher since March 2017 with a research interest in ‘agent-based modeling’. Improving application of this technique, specifically simulating the decision-making process of stakeholders on land use and water management strategies in a river basin, is the main objective of her visit. For this purpose, she is working with “Interactive Intelligence Group” and “Engineering Systems and Services”, TU Delft, too.
