Win Min Oo

Win Min Oo finished his M.E and Ph.D. ( Water Resources Engineering ) in Yangon Technological University (YTU), Myanmar. After getting his M.E ( Master of Engineering ) degree, he has been working as an Assistant Engineer in Department of Development Affairs, Myanmar. After getting his Ph.D.  from YTU, he was promoted to Assistant Director in Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Agriculture, livestock, and Irrigation in Myanmar.

Win Min Oo has joined the water resources management section in TU Delft as a guest researcher in September 2016. His research is to identify the land deformation caused by groundwater over-extraction. He will focus on the detection of land subsidence in Irrawaddy delta in Myanmar by using DORIS " Delft Object Oriented  Radar Remote Sensing Software " and other related technology such as PSI ( Persistent Scatterer Technique), Arc GIS and so on.
