Registration procedure and deadlines for external students
If you are a student enrolled at a university other than Leiden University, TU Delft or Erasmus University Rotterdam, you can register to take a minor at TU Delft as an external student. You can register as an external student from 1 to 15 April 2019 for a selection minor and from 1 to 31 May 2019 for a non-selection minor.
Please note: External students will be registered if there are places available after the registration period of TU Delft students.
If you wish to take a minor as an external student at TU Delft, you will need to take the following steps:
- Under ‘Choose a programme’, choose the minor programme that is offering the minor of your choice and follow all the steps.
- After arranging a second enrolment, you will receive an email with your TU Delft student number and a NetID. You will need the TU Delft student number to register for the minor of your choice.
- After enrolling in Studielink, complete the online form to apply for your minor from the list of minors available here on 1 April 2019 (for selection minors) and on 1 May 2019 (for non-selection minors).
Please note! Students studying at Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, with which TU Delft has a partnership, form an exception to this rule. If you are studying at either of these universities, you should register for a minor at TU Delft through your own university. Please note: students taking a joint degree programme (LST/MST/NB/KT) should register for a TU Delft minor through the programme’s coordinating university.
