Join the open day 

Are you in your final or second-last year of pre-university education? Are you still undecided about what you want to study and are you curious about whether a degree programme at TU Delft is suited to you? If so, then come along and get oriented on on Saturday 25 May 2019.

What's the degree programme about? What courses do you get and what can you become with them? You will hear this and much more at the programme presentations.

Note: the majority of our Open Day is in Dutch, however, the presentations of the degree programmes of Aerospace Engineering, Applied Earth Sciences, Computer Science and Engineering and Nanobiology, offer international students the opportunity to come to the TU Delft Campus and learn more about their programmes.  

Ask your questions on the information market

All degree programmes are also available with a stand to answer all your questions. Here you can meet students and staff, view books, etc.

  • What do you like about this study?
  • Why would you recommend this degree programme to me?
  • What is your most difficult course?
  • What professions can you do after this degree programme?

General presentations in Dutch

You probably have a lot more questions about studying. That is why we have included a number of general presentations in Dutch. You can choose from the following presentations:

  • Introduction TU Delft; what is a faculty? How is a degree programme structured? What does TU Delft stand for?
  • What is the difference between higher professional education (HBO) and academic and research-oriented education (WO)?
  • Especially for parents there is the presentation 'How can I help my child choose a degree programme?
  • Studying with a disability


The open day is divided into a morning session (4 rounds) and afternoon session (4 rounds) and you can sign up for one part of the day. During the session you can attend 4 presentations, each lasting 45 minutes, and visit the information market.

Part 1: from 9:00 to 12:45
Part 2: from 14:00 to 17:45

Admission Office

All prospective Bachelor of Science students that want to apply with an International Secondary School diploma and have questions about admission criteria or the application procedure are more than welcome to visit the Admission Officers at the information market.

Eating and Drinking

You can bring your own food or buy something on campus. In front of the Aula there are several foodtrucks. The canteen in the Aula is also open. At the entrance you get free coffee and tea.
