Come and see for yourself

In order to get to know the department and degree programme properly, it is important to come and see for yourself. TU Delft offers a range of information activities that are designed to help you choose the right programme. These are orientational and/or in-depth activities. By paying us a visit you can experience the atmosphere at the department for yourself and meet students and lecturers.

Open days

The next Open Days will be held on 6 and 7 March 2020 and are organised for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 of pre-university education (vwo) who are closer to making a decision about a degree programme.

When you are interested in finding out whether a degree programme at TU Delft would be the right choice, you can attend one of the three campus tours on Friday afternoon.

Online course

If you are in your last year of pre-university education (VWO) and are seriously contemplating to study Mechanical Engineering, you are invited to follow the mini-lectures given by Dr David Abbink on statics, dynamics and thermodynamics to get a taste of what it is like to be a Mechanical Engineering student.

The online trial studying programme takes three weeks and you will spend about two hours a week on lectures and assignments. And you choose your own planning. You will also be assigned online assistance from a student whom you can call on if you have any questions. You can join the online trial studying at various times in the year.
