BSc from TU Delft

Admission and application procedure for students with a BSc from TU Delft

Bachelor Applied Physics
If you hold a BSc in Applied Physics from TU Delft, you will be admitted to the Master’s programme. Please contact the Applied Physics programme coordinator if you have already completed another MSc programme.

Application procedure:
1. Apply for enrolment in the MSc programme via studielink, preferably before 15 July.
2. Don’t forget to register for the Bachelor’s degree audit.

Other bachelor programmes
If you hold a BSc from TU Delft in Aerospace Engineering, Applied Earth Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Molecular Science and Technology, or Nanobiology, you can be admitted but will be required to take additional modules in a bridging programme.
The bridging programme can be done in parallel with the Bachelor’s (e.g. as a minor) or after completing it. It can be a standard programme (see study guide, under ‘special programmes’ in the menu on the left), or it may be tailored to your specific situation. This also applies to students who have done a minor in physics.

You will be admitted to the bridging (minor) programme provided you fulfil the following requirements at the time of your application to the bridging programme:

  • BSc cumulative grade point average ≥ 7.0;
  • Study delay limited to a maximum of 1 year.

If you successfully complete the Applied Physics bridging programme within the allotted period of two years, you will be admitted to the Master’s programme.

Application procedure:
1. Contact the programme coordinator of the MSc programme in Applied Physics.
2. Apply to enrol in the 'Bridging programme Master Applied Physics' (‘schakelopleiding Master Applied Physics’) via studielink. Bridging programmes are listed under Bachelor’s programmes in studielink.

Note: most of the modules in the bridging programme are taught in Dutch. In some cases, English-language alternatives are possible. This may cause problems with scheduling, however. Bridging programmes are only offered to students who live in the Netherlands.
