Bridging programme Dutch students
If your Dutch Bachelor’s degree does not qualify you for direct admission, you can check in this matrix which BSc programmes are eligible for a bridging programme. If your BSc diploma is not in the matrix, you are not eligible for the MSc BioMedical Engineering. The TU Delft's master’s programme assumes that you have a sound basis on Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied Physics. This includes the attached matrix, as well as the bridging programme. If you have gained a different background, but you would like to study BioMedical Engineering, we advise you to look at other MSc programmes in the Netherlands.
Important notes: if your BSc is not mentioned in the bridging matrix, you cannot be admitted to BioMedical Engineering. There are no options for tailored bridging programmes. Entering BioMedical Engineering via a bridging programme is only possible for Dutch speaking students with a Dutch BSc.
Only the following non-Dutch BSc degrees are eligible for admission:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Applied Physics
- (Bio)medical Engineering
After applying, an admission committee will check your application. We will check your curriculum, grades, motivation letter, language proficiency and whether you complied with all further requirements.
More info about TU Delft admission requirements can be found on the TU Delft website.
