Scientific and social orientation
Students can substitute the Company Internship (15 EC) + the elective part (12 EC) of their exam programme + 3 EC from the Master End Project (thesis), by 30 EC with the following orientations. These special programmes must be approved by the coordinator of the specialization and the sub-Board of Examiners MSc LST).

Going abroad during your studies is a great way to experience studying and living in a different country, get to know its culture and meeting new people.
The International Office Applied Sciences offers exchange opportunities for both bachelor and master programmes. Other possibilities include summer schools and internships abroad.

It's possible to combine a part of this master with the MSc programme of Science Education & Communication (SEC)
Education
After graduation, you will be certified to teach Chemistry in upper secondary education in the Netherlands (VWO).
The educational programmes aim at Dutch-speaking students only, because they are oriented towards the Dutch school system. Consequently, the education specialisation modules are only offered in Dutch.
Communication Design for Innovation
Students are allowed to do 30 EC of the MSc track ‘Science Communication’.In the Science Communication Track students learn to become science communication specialists. The programme’s curriculum teaches students to respond to ever growing societal needs for information on science and technology. In order to professionally provide such complex information, specialists are required who have excellent knowledge in both communication, and science and technology content.

Management of technology
With approval from your specialisation coordinator, you can also combine the specialisation with modules offered by the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at TU Delft. Choice for semester 1 or semester 2. Deadlines for application: 15th November (for semester 2) and 1st of May (for semester 1).
