"After completing my BSc in Nanobiology, I knew I wanted continue in this field. MSc Nanobiology was therefore the perfect choice. Currently, I’m in the final year of my Master’s and working hard on my graduation project. The nice thing about this MSc is the high degree of customisation it allows. Aside from a few mandatory courses, you have a lot of freedom to choose electives, a work placement and a graduation project entirely in line with your own interests. It’s nice to see how everyone discovers his or her field of specialisation and pursues a path in that direction. For me, the Master’s feels like a perfect continuation of the Bachelor’s but more tailored to my own interests. The small number of students make for a social group and the tutors are heavily involved with us. I realised during my projects and work placement that I would like to stay on in the scientific field, preferably in an international environment. For this reason, I plan to take a PhD after completing my Master’s degree. Where and on what topic is still an open question, but I’m sure the Nanobiology programme is the ideal preparation for a successful research career. We’ll see what the future brings!"
