What is GIMA?

  • Citizens and businesses want to consult the development plan of their city to know if their building-schemes fit in. How can we best present the information of the development plan in an easily accessible digital and visual form?
  • A Non Government Organization in a data poor environment in a developing country wants to monitor changes in forest extent and quality. Can we classify with satisfying accuracy satellite images into relevant classes?

The MSc Geographical Information Management and Applications is offered by experts from Wageningen University & Research, University of Twente, Delft University of Technology and Utrecht University.

After successful completion of the programme, students will receive a Master of Science degree in Geographical Sciences, signed by Utrecht University .
