Programme

First year: theoretical basis and integration project

The first year comprises of theoretical study, assignments, and (virtual) laboratory work. Students gain a broad knowledge of the sustainable energy field and choose three out of the following seven profiles: Heat Sources, Heat in Buildings, Large-Scale Heat Systems, Waste & Combined Heat and Power, Solar Energy, Power Engineering and Economics & Society, organised in pre-defined profile clusters. During Q2-3-4, the students work in groups on an integration project, to apply the technical knowledge they have acquired in a case study under realistic conditions.

Second year: electives and graduation

The second year is devoted to electives and the graduation project, which involves participating in an advanced research or design project in an academic or industrial environment in the Netherlands or abroad.
The graduate programme of TU Delft offers Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Science and Engineering. Our professors and scientific staff are leading scientists and their leadership and expertise is reflected in the MSc programmes. We offer our students a challenging education and participation in cutting-edge research.
