The ESE department had some nice representation in the news these past few weeks. A couple of platforms in the media discussed or contacted the ESE department for a story.

When lightning strikes
On the 9th of September lightning struck a soccer player on a field in Enschede. A lot of people in the neighbourhood also felt the effects of the lightning. Dutch news organisation RTL Nieuws used ESE's expertise to learn about what happened. Unfortunately the news item is not available on their site.

Traffic on the electricity network
Dutch site BNR.nl reports the latest news in the field of tech, work, entrepreneurship, economics and business. In their segment BNR Duurzaam, hosted by Harm Edens, Helga van Leur talks about sustainability and the new ESP Lab.
