Webinar Remote Teaching | Inclusive Education: How to Improve Learning Experiences for those with Disabilities in your Classroom | 19 May

19 May 2021 10:00 till 11:00 - Location: Online - By: Teaching Academy | Add to my calendar

More than 2200 students (9%) at Delft University of Technology have a confirmed disability and professional estimates range up to 7500 students (30%), from dyslexia to ALS to visual impairments. Even though there are students with a disability in every class, they largely fly under the radar. Students feel a barrier to come forward. This can make it hard for lecturers to see the diversity in their classrooms, and to recognize the problems they face and reach out to them. This webinar, organized by students from the new disability platform Student Onbeperkt, will shed a light on the challenges students with a disability face and how you can make your education more inclusive.

Future webinars will be announced once the titles and descriptions are finalized. If you have a topic that you would like us to cover, please email Naomi directly: n.l.wahls@tudelft.nl.
