On Wednesday 17 March, the Dutch parliamentary elections are being held! In this podcast of Let’s Talk about X we will tell you all the ins and outs of the Dutch political system and the upcoming elections. What will be the main political themes for the upcoming years? What are the biggest political parties in the Netherlands? How did this complex system come about in the first place? It will all be explained to you in this episode!
Two political junkies will guide us through the misty realms of Dutch Politics. Levi Verbeek is a second year History student at Utrecht University. Besides his interest in history, Levi has a love for politics and he is planning to combine both in the master track of his choice: Political History. Also, Twan de Nijs joins this podcast. He used to be a member of the student party STIP in the Delft municipality council and is still very much interested in Dutch politics in general!
