Do you want to learn more about the benefits of failing? Also keen to know more about why failing might not be as bad as you initially think? To show you this, we invited two students and a writer that will share their failures and show the benefits it gave them in life!
With the following action week (20/09 - 24/09) in mind, Norbert and Fenna come to speak about consent, the current legislation and their campaign.
About the Campaign
The #LetsTalkAboutYes campaign builds on years of work and activism against sexual violence in different countries and strives for consent-based legislation and a consent normative culture. With success, on the 8th of March 2021, caretaker minister Grapperhaus of Justice and Security, has made a new draft legislation. It states that all forms of involuntary sex can be criminalized.
More and more countries in Europe are changing their legal definition of rape to one based on consent instead of violence – but there’s still a long way to go. The #LetsTalkAboutYes campaign wants to help by opening up the conversation and focussing on consent in a positive way.
Let’s Talk About ‘X’ - podcast
Let’s talk about ‘X’ is a platform that provides an (online) “meeting space” twice a month. Each edition focuses on a different theme, such as art, culture, technology, politics, society, music, science, and psychology. Often, a guest speaker will join the conversation.
