Numbers tell the tale… or do they? – A data-driven approach to student success | 11 February

11 februari 2022 12:00 t/m 14:00 - Locatie: On campus (if this is not possible, MS Teams link will follow) - Door: Teaching Academy | Zet in mijn agenda

You see the students on the daily. As a teacher, you have developed a sixth sense about what students need to learn well. Does your intuition match the data on student success? At the 3rd Study Climate Tribe session on 11 February from 12:00-14:00, several TU colleagues will share their data on various themes relating to student success: online vs. on campus project education, student well-being, early study discontinuation, the engineer journey. This tribe session will offer you a chance to reflect on this data and exchange insights with fellow teachers, policy makers and students who are all dedicated to improving our study climate.

The Study Climate Program is a TU Delft-wide effort to further enhance student success by focusing on students’ growth and wellbeing. The program aims to broaden the curricula and culture in order to catalyse the transition to an engineering education that leverages the full range of human potential: from the technical to the social and personal domains. This facilitates a supportive environment that allows students to discover the (full spectrum of) knowledge, skills and mind-sets they need to study effectively and
become valued, autonomous and responsible TU Delft engineers. If you would like know more or get actively involved in the programme, please contact the Study Climate Programme Lead Stella van der Meulen s.j.vandermeulen@tudelft.nl.
