In the past years, the Expertise Centre OV-Payment has researched and developed design solutions that increase the usability of electronic ticketing for public transport in the Netherlands. On Thursday September 28th, the results will be presented during the symposium 'User-centred OV-payment'.

Six user-oriented projects will be presented. The projects have been based on extensive field research (both in the Netherlands and abroad) and developed in consultation and collaboration with users and the transport sector. If you would like to gain an impression of the projects to be presented, you can view the trailer for the symposium.

The expertise centre originally started life as the graduation lab on the public transport chip card (OV-chipkaart Afstudeerlab). Its various projects – supported by ClickNL – have involved close collaboration with market players that include transport companies and providers NS, RET, GVB, Connexxion, Translink, Thales, Schiphol and KLM.

The symposium is intended for invited guests and will take place on 28 September from 11:00 to 17:00 (followed by informal drinks) in the IDE Arena at the faculty of IDE. In August the invited guests will receive an official invitation with the option of enrolment.
