Symposium: Design for UN Goals
10 July 2018 15:00 till 13 July 2018 18:00 - Location: Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, BK Expo - By: Communication BK
On July 10, the symposium and round table discussion ‘Design for UN goals’ will offer a reflection on the Landscape Architecture graduation works of this academic year.
Visiting professor Ellen Braae will moderate the afternoon with guests from various practices.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals show the importance of linking design projects with problems faced everyday on a global scale. Design can be used as a medium to convey some of the development goals, which cover a broad range of social and economic challenges. The graduation projects on display have adapted to the following goals: zero hunger, affordable and clean energy, quality education, clean water and sanitation, climate action, life on land, life below water.
Please RSVP before 1 July 2018 here.
