TPM alumni event: 25 years of Technology, Policy and Management

On June 7th Arachnion will organise an alumni event to celebrate the faculty’s 25th anniversary. From 17:30 on, alumni are invited for drinks and dinner. Dean Hans Wamelink will welcome alumni and reveal the design of the ‘alumni cloud of fame’ design. This art installation will be created specifically for the faculty’s 25th anniversary and will incorporate all the names of TPM alumni.

From 19:00 onwards, various scientists will update TPM alumni with lectures on the latest developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Ethics. Associate professor Virginia Dignum, board member of the Delft Design for Values Institute, discusses the ethics of autonomous systems. TPM alumnus Caspar Chorus will talk about the moral choice behaviour of artificial intelligence systems. The evening ends with drinks in the TB Café.

TU Delft for Life | Xperience Day

The lustrum event is part of TU Delft for Life | Xperience Day. Besides faculty programmes in the evening, alumni are welcome as of 12:00 at the TU Delft campus.

The programme, which you can arrange to your liking, consists of several Theme Tours during which you can experience the latest developments of the TU Delft on several topics, such as Water – Global water technology, Entrepreneurship - YES!Delft, or Innovative education - Teaching Lab.

During a plenary gathering in the afternoon, Prof. Tim van der Hagen, Rector Magnificus and President of the Executive Board, will shed light on the TU Delft’s ambition of Excellence, Impact and Community and also invite to the stage the Alumnus of the Year 2018.
